The Archive is a new residential building by Imtiaz Developments in Dubai Land Residence Complex (DLRC), designed around one idea: a home organised around reading. Instead of a conventional lobby, residents arrive through a two-storey library holding around 10,000 books, wrapped by a spiral staircase, with a reception desk built from stacked and bound volumes.
The building offers studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Studios start from 360 sq ft and AED 666,000, one-bedrooms from 600 sq ft and AED 979,000, two-bedrooms from 1,035 sq ft and AED 1.55 million, and three-bedrooms from 1,314 sq ft and AED 1.9 million. Every residence includes built-in shelving for books, with a shelf beside the coffee station in the kitchen and a wall-length shelf in the bedroom.
Shared spaces continue the library theme
a Reading Lounge, a private Writer's Room and a rooftop Reading Salon with a fireplace. There is also a gym shaped by Imtiaz's Raw Theory wellness concept, separate adult and kids' rooftop pools, a rooftop terrace garden, barbecue lounge and outdoor cinema. At ground level a landscaped garden has floating cabanas over a shallow water feature, sunken seating, mini golf, a kids' play area and a dedicated pets' area.
DLRC sits on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. According to the developer, Dubai Academic City, Dubai Outlet Mall and Silicon Central Mall are about five minutes away, Global Village and IMG Worlds about ten, and Downtown Dubai, Dubai Creek Harbour, Dubai Design District and Dubai International Airport about twenty. Handover is scheduled for Q3 2028, with a 50/50 plan or a 60/40 post-handover plan.
